The Central Wyoming Rescue Mission Foundation was Established in 1999, a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Wyoming to receive contributions for the work of CWRM.
Executive Director Carl Wolosin saw the need to build a solid financial foundation for the Mission and has the vision to expand the Mission’s services to the community of Casper. In addition to helping the Mission to continue its current services, it is the hope of the Foundation Board that contributions to the Foundation would also help the Mission expand its current services. Capital funds are needed to establish additional facilities to meet the needs of the Mission’s guests. Along with the need for a commercial laundry facility, the Mission hopes to develop a long term Transitional housing program for single women like it currently provides for its men in their residential program, in addition to providing housing for women in crisis pregnancies. "This is an exciting time for the Mission", stated Director of Development Risa Petrie". The Foundation will give our donors flexibility in how they can give to the Mission. Whether they give through a bequest, a gift of appreciated property, stocks, or however they choose, our donors will know that their gift will not only help the Mission with its programs today, but will be helping us to carry out the work of the Mission for generations to come." "Forming the Foundation is an act of love and compassion", stated Foundation Secretary John Runge." The Foundation will help the Mission continue their programs which offer a Christ-centered sanctuary for the poor and homeless they serve. I truly believe the community of Casper will rise to the occasion and give generously."
