Urgent Needs!

With the increase in guests to CWRM we have the following urgent needs:
  • Bath Towels
  • Canned goods, especially fruits and vegetables.
  • Travel size personal care products including soaps, shampoo, shaving cream & toothpaste.
  • Men and women's new underwear-all sizes.
  • Twin size sheet sets
  • New pillows
  • Socks
  • Warm hats & gloves
  • Thermal Underwear
  • Financial contributions to help offset added utility and food costs.
  • We need to replace our inadequate washers & driers-commercial units would be a tremendous blessing, but household machines would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for helping us to provide for the men, women and children in our care!

*** Full House ***

We never truly know the cause for an influx of people to the Mission. Yet, we can't help but wonder if the increase in our numbers is because of the recent attacks on our country-the need of people to gain some understanding, their desire to reach out to God for comfort, and to make themselves right with Him.
For whatever reason, we have 50 guests staying at the Mission and 25 of those guests participating in our Residential Program. That fifty percent of our guests have chosen to stay with us long-term is a marvelous example of the success the Mission is experiencing. These are men and women who have decided to work on the very issues that brought them to our doors. They will be enrolled in our four month long, Christ-centered discipleship classes addressing their addictions, issues of anger and unforgiveness, and whatever other life-controlling problems that have kept them from living a productive lifestyle.
With our increased number of residents, the Mission is in great need of canned goods, especially vegetable and fruits, travel size soaps, shampoos, toothpaste and shaving cream, bath towels, dish towels, twin size sheets, NEW pillows, new men and women's underwear and socks.
We are honored to be doing God's work here in Central Wyoming and thank you for your help in caring for those in need!

Farnham's Furniture Golf Marathon for Charity

God gave us a beautiful day for this year's Farnham's Furniture Galleries Golf Marathon for Charity. On Monday, September 24th, twenty golfers set out in their own carts to attempt to golf 100 holes in one day-not an easy accomplishment!
Each golfer raised pledges to play in the event, with proceeds benefiting the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. With our golfers' help, over $19,000 was raised for the ministries of CWRM & FCA.
We offer up a huge thank you to Chaz & Karla Farnham and Farnham's Furniture Galleries for their Title Sponsorship of the event. Also thanks to our hole-in-one sponsor Greiner Ford and our hole sponsors: Tim & Joann Monroe, Casper Star Tribune, Dairy Queen, Hilltop National Bank, Dr. Marc Delgadillo, Okes Jewelry, Stratton Real Estate-Heidi Wilhelm, Dr. and Mrs. Brook Redd, Gerald Stack, and First Interstate Bank. Thanks to Safeway, Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, Blimpie, Coca Cola, and Hardee's East for the great food and drinks for the golfers and volunteers. And most of all-thank you golfers!! We couldn't do it without you!
