From
The Directors Desk

Especially during this time of national trouble, we who have been born again by the loving gift of salvation, need to take to heart God's word in John 4:18-19. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.” Our legitimate cares, concerns, anxieties and even fears need to be exposed to the love that God has shown us which He has for us in Christ. Bringing these cares to God will allow His love to melt these cares and fears into the experience of His abiding Peace. God is good … all the time!

Dear Friend of the Mission,
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding the information in this newsletter (or regarding anything to do with the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission), please feel free to call me at (307) 265-2787 or write us at PO Box 2030, Casper, WY 82602.
We would be happy to hear from you. Or if you're in the area, stop by and someone will show you around and talk to you about the work we do at CWRM. Thank you for your support!

News From Rescued Treasures

HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!

The community has been so generous with their treasures. But, we are temporarily overwhelmed. We desperately need some healthy strong men to help us move things around and also to bale up the clothing that we can not use at this time. The items baled are shipped to Texas where they are sorted and re-routed. Some will go to other thrift stores and some will go to help needed people in third world countreis. It is important that we get these items baled in a timely manner. This allows us to get them shipped out before they get damp. Bales left in the warehouse over 6 months may become unmarketable. Please come to our RESCUE! If you are able to volunteer at Rescued Treasures, telephone Cory or Dennis at 577-7793.

Raffle to Benefit CWRM

The Construction and General Laborers Union Local 1271 Retirees are raffling a half beef, cut and wrapped and all of the proceeds from the sale of the tickets will benefit CWRM. Each ticket is $5.00, and even “out of towners” are eligible-the Retirees will find a meat processor in your home town if you win the prize! To purchase your raffle ticket(s) simply indicate the number you would like to purchase on the coupon below, and return the coupon with your payment. (No need to write a check separate from any other donation-all the money raised from the raffle goes directly to support the programs of CWRM.) We hope you'll participate in this potentially profitable fundraiser for CWRM.
