Christmas was very special for the guests at the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission thanks to the incredible generosity of countless individuals, families, churches, groups and businesses who showered us with donations over the holiday season.
    From dinner items and dessert, warm hats, gloves and socks, clothing and shoes, to phone cards and movie passes, our guests were blessed immeasurably by the outpouring of love shown by so many of you.
     On behalf of all of the men, women and children who were the beneficiaries of your donations, we say thank you for making Christmas extra special for the guests we serve!
     Below is a list of just some of the incredible donations we received at CWRM over the holidays. A big thank you to all of these listed below, as well as the hundreds of you who gave financial contributions from $5 to $12,000, which will help us carry on our programs to the poor and homeless of Wyoming today, and throughout the New Year.

  • Wyoming Symphony Orchestra-food Drive.
  • DriveHighland Park Church Seniors Group-bags filled with personal items, notepads, envelopes, stamps, and many other goodies.
  • C.A.C.-purchased one Christmas wish for each of our guests.
  • guestsShepherd of the Hills Deacons-gift bags.
  • First Interstate Bank-Phone cards, movie passes & other goodies.
  • Fleischli Oil who donated their Christmas party funds to the Mission.
  • Wyoming Medical Center Foundation for donating part of the proceeds from the Celebration of Lights.
  • Rocky Mountain Oilfield Warehouse for their generous financial contribution.
  • Sandra Porter-hand-crocheted hats for the guests.
  • Eva Vinton-Delicious chocolates and clothing items.
  • Zion Lutheran Youth Group for wrapping tons of the guests' Christmas gifts and donating $500.
  • Dean Dick for nominating CWRM for a $700 contribution from his company.
  • Newell Sargent Foundation for their generous contribution.
  • VFW-kids' gift bags and coats and other gifts for the Mission guests.
  • Parkway Plaza for their kind donation.
  • Western Environmental for the 12 passenger van.
    There are many more not listed here responsible formaking the holidays bright for so many this holiday season.. We thank you all for reaching out to those in need, especially at Christmas!

    Pictured are two students from Roosevelt High School who brought piles of presents for each of the children staying with us over the holidays. The staff and students from Roosevelt High collected money to purchase the gifts (also thank you to Muraine & Bostwick for their help in providing gifts)
