Our
Services
The Central Wyoming Rescue Mission is a
faith-based, 12 Step outreach program.
We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
C.
W. R. M. helps the
men and women it serves address the issues that have
led to their crisis need, and gives them the opportunity, with accountability,
to work on those issues.
We offer :
- Meals prepared in
"Our
Kitchen" daily and served in
our "Drop in Center" to both Our Guests and People from the
Community.
- Shelter for those
Men,
Women and Children
"in Need" from just an overnight stay up to two years. (based
on an approved program plan).
- Clothing to our guests free
of charge from our "Rescued Treasures"
Thrift Store, as well as many other "lightly used" items to
our community at a greatly reduced price compared to new.
- Laundry service 5 days a week for our Emergency
Shelter Men,
Women and Children Guests.
- Case management for our
Men,
Women and Children Guests as well as some
community individuals who desire help to better manage their lives.
- Christian Counseling for our
Men,
Women and Children Guests as well as
some community individuals.
- Referrals for our
Men,
Women and Children Guests, and community individuals to the many various agencies around Casper,
as well as those in other parts of Wyoming.
C.W.R.M. is:
- EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM
-
- Offers housing; Three
meals per day Monday thru Friday, and
two
meals per day on weekends and
holidays;
- Sack lunches for those guests who are working;
- A full
service laundry five days a week;
- Clothes from our "Rescued
Treasures" thrift store;
- Showers; Hygiene items;
- Case
management;
- Phone for local calls;
- G. E. D./Continuing Education
counseling;
- Non-medical de-tox from 1 to 14 days with an approved
program plan.
- RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM -
- Offers long-term housing, Three
meals per day Monday thru Friday, and
two
meals per day on weekends and
holidays;
- Laundry room and supplies;
Showers;
- Clothes from our "Rescued
Treasures" thrift store;
- Intensive case management.
No time limit on individual stay as long as continual progress is
being made in completing their individualized program covenant.
- Long-Term
Transitional Housing -
- Offers long-term housing;
- Development of life-skills needed for
independent living (cooking, laundry, money management, etc.,);
- Intensive case management.
- Length of stay up to two years with
ongoing progress on their individualized program covenant.
- Drop-In-Center - The Mission dining area is open during
the daytime hours for Mission and community guests.
- Phone for local
calls available;
- Case management;
- G.E.D./Continuing Education
counseling;
- Clothes from our "Rescued
Treasures" thrift store;
- Laundry; Showers; and Meals.

The Mission encourages understanding and acceptance of Jesus
Christ as one's Savior and Lord (Higher Power in 12-Step
Recovery).

Extensive discipleship training (two, consecutive 4
month programs).

Biblical Counseling. The Mission expresses
loving concern to all guests, "We exist to
Glorify God by Serving our Guests in a Christ Centered Sanctuary
where the Lord's Love is Our Guiding Light". All
spiritual pursuits are strictly voluntary.
